What is a Blind Date with a Book Box?

A Blind Date with a Book Box is a curated reading experience built around a surprise book. You choose the color, mood, or genre, and we select a book and coordinate it with bookish accessories to create a complete reading-night bundle.

What is included in each box?

Every box includes one surprise physical book and a coordinated selection of bookish accessories. Depending on the selected box, accessories may include bookmarks, pens, pencils, highlighters, sticky tabs, keychains, stickers, and other reading essentials.

Please review the photos and description of the specific box before ordering. Designs may vary slightly depending on availability, but replacements will always match the chosen theme and be of equal or greater value.

Is the book new?

Yes. Every box includes one new physical book unless the individual product description states otherwise.

Can I choose the exact book title?

The title is intentionally kept a surprise. You may select your preferred color, mood, or genre, but the exact book will be chosen by The Piona.

Can I avoid receiving a book I already own?

You may leave a note at checkout or contact us immediately after placing your order with a short list of titles or authors you already own. We will do our best to avoid duplicates, but we cannot guarantee this for extensive personal libraries.

Are the accessories exactly the same as the photos?

The photos represent the style, color palette, and overall value of each box. Certain accessory designs may vary slightly depending on availability. Any replacement will match the selected theme and be of equal or greater value.

Can I send the box directly as a gift?

Absolutely! Our boxes arrive gift-ready. You can ship the order directly to the recipient by entering their address at checkout. Please make sure the shipping address is correct before submitting the order.

How long will my order take to ship?

Orders are normally prepared within 2–4 business days. Carrier delivery usually takes an additional 2–5 business days, although delays may occur during holidays, severe weather, or other circumstances outside our control.

Do you accept returns?

We accept approved returns of unopened and unused boxes requested within 14 days of delivery. Because the book title is intentionally a surprise, opened boxes cannot be returned based on personal preference or dissatisfaction with the selected title. Customers are paying for all approved returns.

What if my order arrives damaged or incorrect?

Please contact us within 7 days of delivery and include your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos of the box, shipping packaging, and damaged or incorrect items. We will work with you to arrange an appropriate replacement or refund.

Are the books suitable for children?

The Piona boxes are primarily created for adult readers. Books may contain mature language, romance, violence, suspense, or other adult themes depending on the selected genre.

Do you ship internationally?

At this time, we ship only within the United States.

What is the Video Packing add-on?

If available, the Video Packing add-on includes a short video of your order being prepared. The video may be shared on The Piona’s social media pages, but personal information, addresses, and payment details will never be shown.
